Expert local guides: On most tours, in addition to the services of the tour manager, Global Tourism & Fairs escorted group tours also benefit from the knowledge of local guides who accompany each excursion. In some cases, where appropriate, the tour manager will also act as the local guide. Where possible, your entrance fees are included in the holiday price.

Airport representatives: For all group arrival where six or more people are travelling on an international flight, a Global Tourism & Fairs representative is available to assist you with any requirements may need.

Comfortable land travel: For road journeys, Global Tourism & Fairs uses buses of a size appropriate to the size of the group, with air conditioning where this facility is available. On rail journeys, groups are booked in the best available class on the bus or train.

Small group sizes: To enhance your enjoyment of the tour, we like to keep our groups small and manageable. Therefore, numbers are normally restricted to a maximum of 25 and a minimum of 10 people.

Extensions: Global Tourism & Fairs is happy to arrange for you to extend your stay beyond the escorted group tour dates. Group tour extensions are operated on the same basis as private travel unless other members of the main tour group choose to take the same extension, in which case the relevant services may be shared.

Tour & accommodation standards

In some cases, tours include some departures in one category and some in another: you can see and select the different tour types under ‘tour variations. For these tours, the itinerary is generally the same and just the standard of accommodation varies. However, if there are any variations in the excursions included, these are shown within the itinerary.
